Interesting Searches

In the happy world of the wide wide web I have lots of fun seeing what search terms people actually find my site under.

For a long time Chris Schaffer was the most common keyword that people found my site through. Which makes perfect sense; me being Chris Schaffer. But after a couple of key blog posts all of that changed. Here are some of the more interesting searches I have received very small amounts of traffic from.

I the fact that I actually get hits off of porn searches is pretty amazing to me. I mean seriously, read your search descriptions. And if you ignore them, please click my adds for the next full hour as punishment.

The weird thing is that about a year ago I was getting a number of hits from “Darkside Porn” before my famous post about Japanese hotels and their adult channel availability. It made some sense that I might get traffic off of that simply because there aren’t too many sites using Darkside in their title. But the fact that I got edged out of the darkside porn searches but made it into dreamland porn searches is just odd.

I am happy, though, to end up on a zombie search. The fact that I have at least written about zombies several times and done a wee bit of zombie satire writing at least makes the two things connect. I just wonder how many notches on google searches this post will bump me up. Or if it will generate any new and stranger search results…

hey, came over via blogrush because i wanted to check out your searches. i actually do a weekly “sunday google-age” where i laugh at all the crazy searches i get. some of it i just do not understand at all, but it’s pretty hilarious to mock the googling weirdos.
