Wednesday Image: Brain People
I often wonder how the brain works. And after years of study and learning the general principles of actual neuron interaction, chemical pathways, and effects of organic damage this image still reveals much more than the average textbook. Most days when thinking about my thoughts I don’t picture any complex interaction; just happy brain people frolicking about.
If you don’t think your thoughts are that way, try this. Think of one of your friends you don’t like much. That guy who doesn’t seem to have much in the way of profound thoughts. Now think of how his brain works when you hand him stinky tofu and compare that to handing him a puppy. If your image of how his brain works doesn’t mirror the comic above you should probably stop punishing your brain people so frequently. After all the happy gray matter sacrificing brain tribe is much more creative!
