Savage Chickens by Doug Savage is one of my favorite animal based comics.
This is one of those gems that reminds you that sometimes all is indeed not well in the world. Let’s face it, who hasn’t woken up from a daydream (or intense nightmare), and found out they were actually at work. At least in your dreams you have the possibility of escape. While you could scale the wall of your cubicle and make a run for it, you’re probably going to be coming back the next day.
Besides, in my experience it seems like the faster you try to run the most likely you are to run into your manager. You manager will see that strange feverish energy in your eyes and figure this would be a good chance to channel that energy into extra hours on Saturday.
We truly do live in a sick, evil world!

@ Cyberfizzle - I actually found the comic through StumbleUpon awhile back. I don’t check it as often as I should but it’s has always been pretty high quality.
@ Claire - Glad to find another person who likes the comic. It really is a good one and also right on for my type of humor.
