A New Threat to Ninja
A new floor from Sensacell for the 2008 World Expo may spell trouble for us intrepid ninja.
Not traps, not poison, not even a floor covered in pirates… No, this is afar more sinister!
It is floor that lights up where you step on it. Thousands of LED panels (or exactly 1,000 panels for this particular floor display) just waiting to reveal the location of a normally wary ninja! While this may not interfere with out brothers who travel only by rooftop, it is only a matter of time before roof tiles have the same sinister technology added to them.
Of course the power grid is still an obvious weakness of this system. I will personally be using helium balloons to safety hover above the floor before assassinating my victim. At the very least it should produce a wonderful confused expression that I can treasure in memory…
To all other Ninja, what do you think of this floor?
The Ultra 88 Nightclub at Mohegan sun has a floor just like that, but with an electric eye and a projector. Not as responsive as LEDs and pressure sensors, but they’ve got really cool visualizations.

Sounds like a cool place. If I get out that way anytime soon I may need to check it out… and pack to meet their dress code.
