Back from San Diego
Well, San Diego was a success. I even have the photos to prove it!

Here is a group shot of most of the company outside the office on Thursday. I’m the one in the dark red shirt. Get used to that look, all of the pictures of me are from the same day.

After group shots and some work we moved over to our Application Manager, Alex’s, home. We brought along a laptop for our presentations and an Xbox, because no tech team is complete without games. At this point I was playing Burnout: Paradise. If you haven’t played it, don’t, you will became addicted and probably begin trying to use your car a weapon.

After gaming we had some pizza and gave some short presentations. Actually Dan, Alex, & Laura gave long presentation about what they were doing now and the future of tech and content in the company. The regular tech and content teams gave short presentation that were mostly practice and critique for speaking skills.
As you can see, I was appropriately social. I did not just play games.

So wanting to continue the social trend, I apparently struck up a great conversation with my mojito at the bar before dinner. Nothing says ultra-social like being that guy at the table. But, I kid, I was probably talking to a real person and not the mint leaves.
There’s more to tell, but I’ll be waiting more more pictures from the big Friday event before posting about it.
All the pictures here were taken by Dan, our CTO. He makes very sure to capture us at our least expectant times for some great candid photos of everyone.
