		<description>I am not a Mac fan, as I sold my soul to the WinTel standard many years ago. 

I did have a chance to see the Air several days ago, and it does have a lot of the &quot;cool&quot; factor. I found the design impressive and pure Apple. But it seems to be missing the power and flexibility to be a great mobile workstation. This is a consumer product that is now becoming a Mac status symbol. I have yet to read anything that has talked about how fast or powerful the computer is, just a lot of &quot;how cool the laptop is&quot;. Cars, houses, phones, and now laptops are a new status symbol.</description>
