Want to be original but don’t have money? The Get Out Clause did just that. However, the Telegraph can say it better than I can:

Unable to afford a proper camera crew and equipment, The Get Out Clause, an unsigned band from the city, decided to make use of the cameras seen all over British streets.

With an estimated 13 million CCTV cameras in Britain, suitable locations were not hard to come by.

They set up their equipment, drum kit and all, in eighty locations around Manchester – including on a bus – and proceeded to play to the cameras.

Afterwards they wrote to the companies or organisations involved and asked for the footage under the Freedom of Information Act Data Protection Act.

When you piece it all together, you get the above music video which seems incredibly creative rather than a cheap solution to a video crew. While filming from the perspective of security cameras is no new thing, as far as I know this might be the first use of the actual security cameras for filming.

Despite the fact that I listen to a ton of Bad Religion, I hadn’t yet put up a video. So here it is, Sorrow.

The struggle between the man (humanity) and father (god/religion) does a rather good job at symbolizing some of the difficulties I am going through right now in my personal life. So watch and enjoy.

It’s been a long time since I listened to this song. I had always liked in simply for the fact that it had an awesome sound, but once you rehear a song after a long time away you always come back to the lyrics. This song has an important message to give. The message is so important that I won’t even spell it out for you, if you don’t hear it, hit that rewind button and listen again until you do.

I love Rammstein, possibly because I come from German origins (way way back, it’s a long story with charts). However I occasionally hear people complain that we need to move our military out of Germany and just let them have their own. This video basically sums up why that would be a bad idea… Hell, even Germans think it would be a bad idea. Watch for that look in Till Lindemann’s eyes. That is pretty much the same look every German gets when you give them a tank.

Always remember, play safe and only use fire for overly dramatic effects with large groups of people in confined spaces.

“Let the Bodies Hit the Floor” by Drowning Pool is possibly the most frequently used song for anime fan videos. I would have few doubts of 90% of all anime series have at least one fan video using this song. It is also the soundtrack for the latest Rambo trailer. So being that the real music video from the band is probably one of the least viewed versions I thought I would give it some love.

Enjoy the video and next time you can’t take one more minute of conference calls just hum this little ditty in your head and lock the drawer that has your scissors in it.

This is the Johnny Cash video of the song “Hurt” originally written and recorded by Trent Reznor. This video has gone further than being a simple cover and is an amazing tribute to the life and people close to Cash. I can’t find a reference but I do believe Reznor himself even crediting Cash as making this video much more powerful and meaningful than his original.

This was also the last video made by Johnny Cash. Enjoy it and remember a truly great artist.

I found this song through Last.FM a while back and for some reason it really caught me. And that makes me hate myself just a little, unknown to me was the fact that HIM is an Emo band. If you know me, you probably know the fact that I am somewhere close to anti-emo in the way a chainsaw is anti-tree.

I’m claiming that I like the song because the guitar part sounded nifty. Nothing else. Question me on this choice at your own risk.
